The Man City team are supporting the NSPCC’s Save the Number campaign to show that child protection is everyone’s responsibility. Players, supporters and the people of Manchester are being asked to save the NSPCC help line number: 0808 800 5000 in their phones. So, if they ever have any worries or concerns about the welfare of any child or young person they can call in confidence and get advice. Not all children can speak out for themselves.
What is the NSPCC help line? 
The NSPCC help line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. Help line staff are there to offer advice and support to adults concerned about a child, and to assist the child. When you call, you don’t have to tell us who you are, you can remain anonymous if you want. The most important thing is to call.

The NSPCC help line is an important source of information for local children’s services teams. They estimate that one in three serious referrals they make to local authorities are about children they didn’t already know about. Whatever your concern, we’re here to offer help, advice and support.
