‘I haven’t spoken to Manchester City about this and I don’t remember meeting their owner but I’m sure I will. I have, however, met with Roman Abramovich.’

It’s as stunning as it is pitiful. So they’re after desperately closing ranks then and it’s clear that with every City signing or win, no matter who that is or who it’s against, panic is setting in.
