MCFC in the Premier League since Pep Guardiola was announced as next manager.

City couldn’t break down a stubborn Norwich side but overall it was Manchester City who simply weren’t good enough. Its as if the players have lost their sparkle.

Overall – dull bore draw.

Player Ratings

Joe Hart 4
Had nothing to do.

Bacary Sagna 6
Had fleeting moments but gave the ball away too easily.

Vincent Kompany 5.5
Poor game by his standards – similar to Sagna, he gave the ball away too easily.

Nicolas Otamendi 6.5
Shone above the other City players (just) with a couple of telling passes.

Gael Clichy 6
Looked okay and and held the ball up when the time was right to do so. Couple of delightful passes.

Jesus Navas 6.5
Good game and on par with overall performance with Otamendi. Just wish his final ball, especially his crossed ball from the right hand side had more umpf!

Fernandinho 6
He didn’t do a lot wrong today.

Fernando 5
Hardly touched the ball but on the odd occasion when he did he was average.

David Silva 6
Rode the challenges well but just a pity he’s not firing on all cylinders.

Wilfried Bony 2
The teamsheet said he was in the starting 11. Funny as I didn’t see him.

Sergio Aguero 5
9 out of 10 for effort but was simply not on form. Poor passes and attempted shots on goal were naff.

Pablo Zabaleta 3
Only on the pitch for the last five minutes. In fact he did more than Bony did before being replaced after 58 minutes.

Raheem Sterling 2.5
Can’t remember if he did anything worth while.
Got the ball stuck between his feet in the oppositions penalty area. Pity, as the move could have produced something. Hopefully he’ll play instead of Bony.
