Well it`s back to business after a two week break and this fixture sees us travel up to the Stadium of Light to face Steve Bruce`s struggling Sunderland side. The Mackems went on a 14 game run without a win before finally beating Bolton on Tuesday in a 4-0 win helped by a Darren Bent hat-trick. However, After the brilliant performance at Stamford Bridge two weeks ago, spirits will be high and Mancini will be hoping we can push on after Spurs beat Blackburn comfortably yesterday to go 4 points ahead.

Team News:
Patrick Vieira returns to the side after a 3 match suspension whilst Emmanuel Adebayor is still unavailable due to his own suspension also picked up at the Britannia. Martin Petrov is still out with a knee injury and Roque Santa Cruz and Kolo Toure are back to full fitness. The only new injury news I have heard of is that Vincent Kompany may have picked up a knock in training.

Here is the team that I think Mancio will go with:

City Line-Up:

(4-3-3)

1) Given

2) Richards – 28) Toure (c) – 19) Lescott – 3) Bridge

5) Zabaleta – 34) de Jong – 18) Barry

11) A Johnson – 32) Tevez – 39) Bellamy

And here is the team I would like to see:

City Line-Up:

(4-2-3-1)

1) Given (c)

2) Richards – 33) Kompany – 19) Lescott – 3) Bridge

34) de Jong – 18) Barry

11) A Johnson – 7) Ireland – 39) Bellamy

32) Tevez

Mancini has a lot of options at the moment. He could play Roque Santa Cruz alongside Carlos Tevez up front or he could play Stephen Ireland in the “hole” at the expense of a defensive midfielder. He could also bring Patrick Vieira straight back into the side and place Kolo Toure at centre back with Joleon Lescott.

What team would you go with?
