Vital Manchester City received the following article from BlueWolfie.

I watched the 153rd (Greater) Manchester Derby at a friend’s home near Munich, on Sky TV. There were several of us there and you can imagine how we all reacted at the end of the game, because of the extra two minutes of ‘United Time’.

However, that is not why I am scribing this article. Instead of ranting and raving at the debacle, I am here to (attempt to) point out the good things we can collate from that very game.

*We scored three away from home at the Swamp.
*We only had one striker.
*We went behind before each of our goals, meaning we fought and battled to stay in the game. In particular, going behind within 2 minutes.
*Tevez upset the Rags, no end.
*Bellamy had a blinder of a game, scoring two beautiful goals.
*It was not our full-strength squad, and quite frankly we’d have won it easily, if it had been.
*Given was brilliant.
*Same for Toure.

Admittedly, it took me a while to calm down after the final whistle – which apparently the referee had lost somewhere – and I found myself actually admiring what had almost happened.

We should not despair at what happened, but pick ourselves up and move on to the next game. I understand that this is easier said than done, after what went on and the opposition concerned, but these things do happen and we can moan and complain and bitch all we like, but it won’t change the result.

There are still 33 Premiership games (and hopefully plenty of cup games) left to play and you can bet that in at least one of those, luck/good fortune/a very dodgy referee decision will be on our side and it will be us singing and dancing, and the other team, moaning, complaining and bitching just like we are all doing now.
