Video: Manchester City and 11 other Premier League football clubs report losses following the end of season 2011/12.
The Premier League confirmed last week about Sky TV’s £3billion TV deal which begins season 2013/14 and that’s not to mention the extra income from foreign TV deals (I bet the big-wigs who run the Scottish Premier League are spitting feathers with envy), so it appears there will be plenty of cash swishing around club bank accounts in the future.
On a personal note….
Clubs are losing money ‘hand over fist’ right now simply because of players wage demands (a slight simplistic look I know) so what can be done to keep some of the future TV revenue within football?
