Calling Blues, Whites, Reds and Villains. This week’s question after the latest batch of results is have Liverpool finally slipped out of the reckoning…?

The rollercoaster prepares to take another turn as VMC continues to track the sides queuing up to get run ragged by the likes of Lionel ‘Magic Boots’ Messi next season!

Of the latest results, certainly there was profound disappointment around Anfield over the Reds latest damp squib draw at Birmingham.

Not many pundits predicted The Lilywhites cave in at Sunderland or The Citizens goal difference busting destruction of Burnley. Furthermore, The Villains hard fought win at Bolton means their own claim for fourth cannot be ruled out, but they have a lot of work to do.

Whilst Liverpool embark upon something of a last European stand of the season against Benfica this week, both Spurs and Villa now turn their attentions to the strong possibility of silverware and a blockbuster FA Cup weekend.

Will those cup exploits tell in the final league games? Can City and Liverpool take advantage of those FA Cup encounters this coming weekend?
