The last seven days will, come midnight tonight end up well and truly wiped from my subconscious. I don’t know about you but I for one am mentally exhausted following the two Champions League defeats. And that is without mentioning that horribly frustrating Manchester derby loss at the weekend.
Looking forward
I hate the phrase, “there’s always next season,” and so I am not going to mention it – oops, I just did!
The lads have six remaining Premier League fixtures – yep, I just stated the obvious, oh and I’m in the mood for saying something similar – grab five points out of a possible 18 and many will see the season being, I was going to say sensational, but that word is a tad too strong. I’ll replace it with ‘successful’. Winning two trophies in one season cannot be sniffed at.
Where will the points come from?
Tottenham (A)
Swansea (H)
West Ham (A)
Huddersfield (H)
Brighton (H)
Southampton (A)
If we claim all three points at Wembley this Saturday City will be a mere draw away from being crowned Premier League champions. It doesn’t matter and I don’t care what other teams do. I just care about MCFC – simples!
Reaction Post Liverpool Defeat
I’ll add a few post-match comments and then that’s it. I’m moving on.
Congratulations to Liverpool.
Good luck in the semi-finals @LFC! https://t.co/VX7JIqtexU— Ilkay Gündogan (@IlkayGuendogan) April 10, 2018

The following MCFC comment sums it up perfectly.
