Manuel Pellegrini, who says he can ‘handle the pressure’, is under fire at the moment isn’t he and might be replaced in the summer, just saying! I’m not saying he will but you know how it works these days.
It’s claimed that he’s ‘stalling over an agreement’ for a new contract so could leave when his contract expires in the summer and a return to the Premier League is on, which should this happen the Corriere dello Sport reports says we could be interested in him becoming our new manager.
Do I think this is in anyway true? Not at all!
Maybe he’ll come back to England and maybe Pellegrini leaving could well happen, again I stress I’m not saying that it will or that I want it to, but if Rafa does come back to the Premier League then others said to be ‘monitoring’ his situation are welcome to have him.
Though I also see it unlikely Liverpool could turn to him again maybe Newcastle? My money wouldn’t be on him going to any of these clubs, least of all us, mind….
