Red Boots No More For Beasley

On loan winger, DaMarcus Beasley has quickly learned the depth of feeling City have towards our Salford neighbours when he was on the receiving end of fans displeasure for wearing red boots last week against Blackburn.

Beasley will not now wear red boots in future games, much to our relief. It was an unfortunate start for the lad, but I don’t blame him, as the error of his ways should have been pointed out in the dressing room by one of the players or backroom staff.

Expect to see a more acceptable black and white pair tomorrow, although I wouldn’t care if they were bright pink, gold or fluorescent turquoise as long as they help score some goals and seal a desperately needed City win.

Oh, and just in case, can someone remind him also to go to the toilet before he gets on the pitch 😉
