Harry Redknapp has conceded that the race for a Champions League spot looks beyond Spurs’ capabilities this season.

The Tottenham boss stated: ‘Who are you going to knock out? You’re not going to knock Man United out, Chelsea, Arsenal, Man City. It looks like we’re going to finish fifth’.

With money to spend, Redknapp will be hoping to bolster his squad with further additions in a bid to keep up with the front runners.

‘The owner would like me in all honesty to go and spend his money and buy somebody who could make the difference,’ enthused Redknapp.

Unfortunately for the 63-year-old, Roberto Mancini’s side appear favourites to secure the signing of the prolific Edin Dzeko from Wolfsburg, meaning Spurs’ chances of a top four finish look ever slimmer.

Is Redknapp right in saying Spurs dont stand a chance? Have your say below.
