Erling Haaland has made a big impact at Manchester City since joining from Borussia Dortmund in July, but the 22-year-old is already being linked with a move away.
AS said in late-September that Real Madrid are interested in Haaland and Fernando Sanz told Mundo Deportivo that Haaland has a clause in his contract that allows him to join Los Blancos in 2024.

Haaland has made 11 appearances in all competitions for City, scoring 17 goals. The Norwegian international has twice as many goals (14) in the Premier League as the second-highest scorer (Harry Kane – 7) and more goals than any player in Europe’s top-five divisions (Robert Lewandowski – 9).
City will be desperate to keep Haaland, but Real can reportedly sign him in the summer of 2024 if they trigger his €180m (£156.9m) release clause. The 22-year-old scored 86 goals from 89 games at former club Borussia Dortmund, so he’s staked a claim as one of Europe’s best strikers for many years.
Real are interested in another City player (Joao Cancelo) and could lodge a bid of €40m-€50m (£34.9m-£43.6m), but it doesn’t appear they’ll have any more landing his signature either.
