Manchester City have made a late move to sign Riyad Mahrez after Pep Guardiola revealed Leroy Sane will be out for up to seven weeks with his ankle injury.
The above paragraph relates to a story published earlier this afternoon in the Mirror. The paper goes onto say Mahrez manager Claude Puel has insisted that his player is not for sale under any circumstances, however the articles author, David Anderson believes Manchester City WILL put in a late bid before the January transfer window closes.
This is not the first time this sort of rumour has reared its ugly head. In fact, I believe Mahrez was linked to MCFC at least 18-months ago.
