Britain’s most expensive player, Robinho insists playing at Manchester City will make him the best player in the world.
And he’s adamant he was enticed to Eastlands because of the prospect of playing regularly and feels that such consistency will help him fulfil his potential.
The Telegraph quoted the Brazilian star and saying…
“Playing at Real Madrid gave me a lot of visibility and I’m grateful that I had the chance to play there. But I knew that in that squad, I wasn’t going to achieve my goal of being the best player in the world. That’s why I decided to leave.”
“I had the ability and the skill to be in the first team, but I didn’t always play. I was only in the team off and on. But at Manchester City, I play every match and I’ve already scored 11 goals, the second highest in the league.”
