The transfer window opened earlier this morning and low and behold, out of favour City striker Roque Santa Cruz has batted off any ideas of a loan move to Lazio.
Santa Cruz is expected to leave Eastlands during the January transfer window but by all accounts he prefers a permanent rather than a mere temporary move.

‘We are aware of this and consider it a wise decision for him.’
