I’m a little concerned at some of the reports across the worldwideweb this morning, Blues.
It is reckoned in some quarters that it could be all concluded as early as next week.
Now, I can handle that and of course getting a new coaching team in as soon as possible. Del Piero and Totti etc to follow to try out our dazzling new French kits…

…Apparantly the deal is being overseen by one Keith Harris.
Hang on a minute. How the heck Wardle and Mackintosh can entrust our future to the one available hand of a ventriloquist comedian and his pantomime duck sidekick is absolutely beyond me. It was bad enough putting up with Stuart Pearce’s muppet show. To what extent is Harris’s involvement? Are Orville and Cuddles involved in the negotiations?
I think we should be told.
Anyway, I always preferred Joe Beasley and Cheeky Monkey off Alan Partridge’s chat show.
