Ryan Giggs, amid the launch of his new aerobics DVD has taken time out to make a point of saying that he rates Manchester City’s title chances.
Other rag knackers Paul Scholes, Edwin Van der sar, Gary Neville, Patrice Evra and Rio Ferdinand have all followed Sir Alex Ferguson’s geriatric lead previously this season in knocking liddle ciddy, but Giggs has broken the mould by publicly rating City.
The 50 year old flying winger said:
‘…City can win it with the quality of players they’ve got and the strength of depth they have. They are able to go out and buy players like Edin Dzeko in the January transfer window so you have to take them seriously. They are one of four or five teams that could win it.’
