According to the Daily Mirror, Bayern Munich are prepared to offer £70 million to try and lure Man City star Leroy Sane away from the Etihad Stadium and back to the Bundesliga – with plenty of Sky Blues in absolute outrage over the seemingly feeble price.
Sane, who was influential in flashes last season during our domestic quadruple-clinching campaign, with the winner at home to Liverpool being a main highlight, has seen his market value plummet during recent events which have toppled the footballing world.
The Coronavirus pandemic, spreading on a global scale, has seemingly distracted City from the Sane situation – with the German only having one year left on his contract and refusing to extend.
Should City let Sane go for that price?
This, and the fact he is currently returning to full fitness, has prompted Bayern to try and take advantage of his reduced market value – bidding a slender £70 million, apparently half of what we were considering for the player last summer.
As a result, plenty of our supporters aren’t exactly pleased with the update – find all of their best comments down below.
Offer him to Madrid for €60m if he doesn’t sign a new deal.

To let Sancho go for nothing and Leroy for 70mil would represent a quite terrible transfer policy.

when unproven players like Felix & Dembele are going for 100+mil surely Bayern can’t expect to get Sane for 70 million?
