After disclosing the pending signing yesterday, the popular French newspaper Le Parisien has followed up today with a claim that Nasri’s transfer has gone through…

With a headline “Nasri Makes A Fresh Start” that should see camera crews scrambling to The Bridgewater Hospital for second day’s stakeout, the French hacks state that the deal was sealed yesterday.

The story goes that the quicksilver 24 French International known in France as “le petit prince de Marseille” has agreed a 5 year contract at City and The Arsenal have settled for a 26 Million euros fee.

The reason for the delay in confirming the deal is said to be discussions over the structure of payments, the start of the Premier League and the conclusion of Fabregasgate. Nasri will go straight into the City squad for Sunday’s game at Bolton.
