The official Manchester City website reported yesterday that summer signing, Roque Santa Cruz should be available for selection against West Ham United next Monday.

Talking about the Paraguayan’s fitness, City boss Mark Hughes said…

‘Roque won’t be featuring against Fulham, but the likelihood is that he will play a part in the next game if we can get him involved.’

The 28-year-old striker is still to wear a City shirt having left Blackburn in June 2009 for an estimated £17.5 million.

Due to injuries and suspensions his timely return will be warmly received, especially as City are under strength in the attacking portion of the field.
