For over 20 years our friends and neighbours at Manchester United have lived the dream but is their dream turning into a nightmare and should we Blues gloat?
Three 2-1 defeats in a row, League Cup Semi-Final against Sunderland, FA Cup Third Round against Swansea and the Premier League defeat against Tottenham will send shivers up and down the necks of the United board. Only last night live TV pictures showed Sir Alex, Bobby Charlton and Bryan Robson leaving the Sunderland Directors box shaking their heads in bewilderment.
Being a Manchester City supporter since the 1970’s the rollercoaster ride of being a Blue has taken its toil. I can remember when I would wake up in the middle of the night suffering from cold sweats or kicking the dog (metaphorically speaking) following a dire performance and defeat.
