Sergio Aguero’s injury absence, as reported, will be longer than the initial four-weeks that has been suggested.

When Aguero went down clutching his knee against Everton your heart sank didn’t it, even more so when he was forced off and it was confirmed that his injury would keep him out for at least four-weeks.

Ahead of the Roma game Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that he’ll now be our for up to six-weeks….

It goes without saying that any player that’s offered as much to us this season as Aguero has, and has scored 19-goals in 21-games, will be missed big time but the boss insists that ‘our team does not depend on one player’ and we’ll cope without him.

Should he be out for the maximum of six-weeks he’ll miss nine-games but would be in line to return for the meeting with Chelsea at the end of January.
