Weekends in my household generally revolve around football, but not today. This Sunday, similar to millions of others around the globe we’ll be reflecting on bygone years in an act of Remembrance, the traditional roast and then dare I say it, suffer the Strictly Come Dancing and X-Factor results.
What else is there?
Sky Sports are showing Peterborough United v Bolton Wanderers at noon followed by Chesterfield against Sheffield United at 2:10pm. Sky will then broadcast a plethora of internationals from 5pm onwards (boring!). There is always the Grand Slam of Darts on Sky Sports 5 at 1pm, if you like the flying tungsten.
Lunchtime pint?
By the looks of it the reality of a pint and a chat with the lads sounds rather appealing.
In the meantime and while we wait for the respective landlords to do what they have to do before they unlock their doors shall we take a gander at what the Manchester City website and Blues are saying via social media.
