City never looked like scoring, or getting anything from the game during yesterday’s top of the table clash between Spurs and Manchester City.

Aleksandar Kolarov’s own goal gave Spurs the lead in the 9th minute following a miss-kicked clearance close to City’s goal line.

Spurs continued to press City out of the match for the majority of the first half and almost inevitably, Tottenham got their just rewards when Dele Alli added to his teams tally with a neat finish in 37th minute to put Spurs in a commanding 2-0 lead.

City never looked like scoring in the second and many Blues were relieved when referee Andre Marriner blew the final whistle.

Is it time for Man City legend Pablo Zabaleta to retire or leave for the MLS?

Tottenham may have ended our winning run but we are still at the top of the Premier League.

Claudio Bravo still gets City fans nervous passing it out from the back.
