With just hours to go before the transfer window closes, Croatian defender Vedran Corluka has left Manchester City for Premier League rivals Tottenham.
Corluka (22) signed for City last August on a five-year-deal, however following a transfer request, Blues boss Mark Hughes decided to let the player go. No official figure has been mentioned although reports suggest City received £8million.
On joining Spurs Corluka said…
‘I am delighted to be here because I am coming to a big club with great players, great ambition and also my best friend [Luka Modric] is here so it is a very happy day for me.’
