Manchester City enjoyed a 4-0 win over Sevilla in Tuesday night’s Champions League group game and Sergio Gomez impressed on his full debut.
The 22-year-old had made two appearances from the bench for City before the European encounter but was thrown in the deep end by Pep Guardiola after Joao Cancelo was switched to right-back following Kyle Walker’s injury.
Gomez didn’t let his manager down and showed he could be a good option at left-back, making the joint-most tackles and dribbles while winning more aerial duels and whipping in more crosses than any of his teammates.
