  • Watford were unlucky not to score, but that is what wins you games, a clinical finisher in Aguero, who amazingly has never been selected in the team of the year, yet is one of the premiers most prolific scorers year in year out. Harry Kane, an amazing talent is already being touted for the Ballon d’Or and I will not talk up Aguero’s chances, it is far too early to speak of such nonsense.

  • They had their chances – the header from the free kick when it was 0-0; a decent shout for a penalty when Walker caught Chalobah (although he made a meal of it); and another free header in the second half. That was our problem lasts season and it cost us dearly.
