It’s a quick turnaround for the next Premier League game with City back in action with a home game on Sunday.

City return to the Etihad on Sunday afternoon with Burnley the latest visitors.

Vincent Kompany (calf and hamstring) has missed the last two league game but could return for this one, given his problems recently though Manuel Pellegrini could air on the side of caution.

Stevan Jovetic returned to be an unused sub in the Boxing Day win over West Brom but Edin Dzeko (calf) and Sergio Aguero (knee) will again be sidelined.

Burnley’s Sam Vokes (cruciate) returned in Burnley’s defeat to Liverpool and he could be involved again from the bench. Matt Taylor (Achilles) could make his return but Michael Duff (calf) and Stephen Ward (ankle) could miss out.
