City went into our ‘enforced break’, due to our FA Cup exit against Middlesbrough, responding well to the Hull draw at the Etihad with an emphatic win at Stoke – we’ll be looking for all three-points again at the Etihad in the Saturday night Sky Sports game.

Newcastle isn’t going to be easy and one man that will miss out against his former side is James Milner (knee), he’ll sit out this one before a decision is made prior to Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday as to if he returns of not.

One that will definitely be in the squad is Wilfried Bony, he could make his debut now that he’s back an African Cup of Nations winner – Yaya Toure is also back with Sergio Aguero (back) fit and well.

Newcastle are ‘stretched to the limit’ due to defensive injuries. Paul Dummett (knee) joins Steven Taylor (Achilles) so Daryl Janmaat, Mike Williamson, Fabricio Coloccini and Massadio Haidara are the only fit defenders remaining. Remy Cabella (knee), Siem de Jong (collapsed lung) and Cheick Tiote (knee) are all out too.

It’s 16 unbeaten for us against Newcastle with us winning the past 10 in a row, Newcastle did of course beat us at the Etihad in the League Cup in October mind….

Ahead of the game we’re looking for your views on what way you think it will go:-

City win
Newcastle win
Draw
