Busy Carlos Tévez’s agent-ish adviser has failed to agree personal terms for his client with Paris Saint Germain. Reports in France suggest Tévez himself pulled the plug…

Kia Joorabchian, fresh from advising around Mark Hughes’ and Nedum Onuoha’s moves to Queens Park Rangers went to Paris in the knowledge that for various reasons, attempts to move Tévez a mile closer to Buenos Aires had stalled both with AC and Inter Milan respectively.

Popular opinion suggests that Milan is the on strike striker’s favoured destination this month with nobody else prepared to meet Manchester City’s more than reasonable asking price of £25 million.

PSG, who at one stage yesterday formally announced the strikers capture on their club website, and in particularly Sporting Director Leonardo are openly pessimistic of any deal for the Argentinian who turns 28 years old next month and hasn’t kicked a ball in anger for over three months.

Tévez and his people now have 10 days left of the winter transfer window to find him a football club. Having already boxed himself into a corner by firstly failing to apologise for unprecedented behaviour at an English football club then secondly going AWOL, the serial fall out merchant is staring down the barrel of another 5 self imposed months out of action.

In England, Mark Hughes, Sam Allardyce and Harry ‘City Tourettes Syndrome’ Redknapp are open admirers but the player having slagged the old country to the extent he has means he’s burnt that particular bridge.

Reports in France and Italy are suggesting that Joorabchian was in Paris to secure his ‘client’ an 11 million euros salary over 3.5 years whereas Paris were holding out for 8. Common ground was found, but Tévez allegedly said no by telephone.

Joorabchian told the media:

‘Does Carlos wants to come to Paris? I can only say that he is one of the very best players in the world. And when you fall into this category, all parameters are to be considered. We are in the midst of discussions with the PSG. There is still some way before reaching an agreement. Moreover, we are continuing discussions with other interested clubs. But I can say one thing. If Carlo Ancelotti was not the coach of PSG, there would be no discussion. I believe he is one of the best coaches in the world, perhaps the best.’

City continue to hold all the aces. As Planet Blue collectively shakes it’s head again over Tévez who really could have had it all at Manchester City, we wonder if Nigel De Jong, himself the subject of contractual advice and a subsequent nosedive in form is following all this…
