Valeri Bojinov and Dimitar Berbatov have shown over the past year that every player can forget the so called rivalry between teams, and show compassion.

Bojinov joined City in the summer of 2007, for £6million from Juventus. However the 23 year-old has then suffered a Knee and Achilles problem which has limited the Bulgarian to around 53 minutes of football.

Joining a new country and having a set-backs like Bojinov has experienced, can damage all self-esteem but Bojinov has insisted he has never felt alone and that is partially down to his close friend and Man United striker Berbatov.

In an interview Bojinov has stated that Manchester City will become one of the best teams in the game because City can attract the big names of football. Bojinov has also stated he would like to be a big part of the new era at City but has praised his mate Berbatov for helping him when he was down.

Bojinov spoke about how Dimitar was there to encourage him when he was down and would tell him not to worry because he will be better than he was before.

This is evidence that football is still a human game. A game where the players can still care about each other and not just the pay-packet they get every week.

Continuing, Bojinov is over the blue moon to be back in the frame for City, and he wants to forget all his injuries and help Manchester City become a force to be reckoned with!
