The Final Countdown: Barney Daniels

VMC gives the front page floor to the VMC Forum posse during the Premier League run-in through a mini-series offloading on what’s gone before and what’s to come…

Our very own Barney Daniels rocket blaster’s the back of the net over our imminent visit to the doomed Wolverhampton Wanderers…

‘So how many goals will City score against Wolves?…To be honest, I’ve given up on the title.

‘I don’t want to, but the run-in for the rags is simple to say the least. Their only 2 remotely difficult games are Everton and Sunderland but there is a smell of old pals doing them a favour in both games.

‘My focus is on City going out with a bang. Before we entertain the rags at home, it’s surely a case of how many against a Wolves team that must be low in confidence.

‘Mancini may rest some of the players once we are 2 or 3 goals to the good. He may think in private that we have an outside chance and City should look to improve our goal difference.

‘This Blue wants to see Tevez and Aguero and Silva play together as much as possible in the hope that Tevez will have a change of heart and stay with City for another season.

‘Our prospects of that illusive title will surely be enhanced with Tevez being on board next season.

Prediction? 0-6.’
