The Lads Were Off The Pace – Mark Hughes

Manchester City boss Mark Hughes spoke to the press after Saturday’s home defeat against last seasons Premier League runners-up Chelsea.

‘The lads were a bit off the pace and Chelsea were big and strong…but overall we had a number of players making their City debut and we didn’t have that much time to work with them…they are a good side Chelsea as everyone knows , we’re not at their level yet but we aim to be.’
