The Stretfords Debt Deepens

Planet Blue welcomed more good news today as the newswires creaked with the revelation that The Glazer Empire’s groaning debt mountain at the swamp has increased…

There’s next to nothing the predominantly rag biased media’s crestfallen hacks or deluded nitid independent websites can do about the financial shambles that won’t go away despite the straw clutching of linking the deposed champions with an array of top stars.

The rags are paying for their chastening exit from an easy peasy Champions League group and then some.

Net debt has risen by £26m and total revenue is down 5.8%, according to quarterly figures released by the swamp. The figures also show that the Glazer family spent the equivalent of more than £250,000 a day, Wayne Rugney’s weekly salary, on a £71m buyback of bonds and on interest payments over the past nine months.

They are worse off than they were a year ago and have won nothing.

United are in the poo with a tired old in denial manager and an over-relied upon weary old guard holding the side together.

The days of Taggart breaking transfer records and buying star players unopposed are long gone.

Treble Norwich scarves all round!
