According to transfer news courtesy of La Gazzetta dello Sport via Sport Witness, Serie A champions Juventus ‘crave‘ Sky Blues striker Gabriel Jesus and could be willing to swap Douglas Costa to secure his signature – with a potential Brazilian exchange in the air.

Jesus, who impressed before football’s untimely postponement, arguably put one of the performances of his City career against Real Madrid at the Bernabeu – scoring a headed equaliser in the first leg and skating past Sergio Ramos to force the Spaniard into making a red card challenge.

Should City do a swap deal with Jesus in exchange for Costa?

Yes

No

Indeed, the 23-year-old has also managed to catch the eye for us domestically despite consistently rotating with club legend Sergio Aguero – scoring 10 goals and assisting four others in 13 Premier League starts according to WhoScored.

This could be why Juventus are keen to snap up Jesus, with this report stating that winger Costa could go the other way in a swap deal.

However, taking into account the 29-year-old’s age among other factors, some Sky Blues have been in full debate over letting one of our best potential young stars depart the Etihad – giving their range of opinions over the news on social media.
