According to a report from the Daily Mail, Bayer Leverkusen winger Leon Bailey is emerging as a possible target to replace Leroy Sane if he leaves this summer – prompting many City supporters to go wild over the update.Β

Bailey, who has started just seven Bundesliga games this season, has at least managed to score five goals and register one assist in that time – with the 22-year-old also possessing ‘immense’ potential and ‘exciting’ talent according to a past scout report from Breaking the Lines.Β

Would you be happy with Bailey as a Sane replacement?

Yes, do it now

No, not good enough

No, not good enough

The Jamaican international winger, even though he has found game time limited, has amassed the fifth-most shots per game out of Leverkusen’s entire squad whilst completing the sixth-most dribble attempts according to WhoScored – perhaps highlighting why City fans see him as a coup.

Still at a blossoming age, he may well be a potential Sane replacement in the making, with plenty of Sky Blues flocking to Twitter and hoping we land the youngster.
