With Tottenham and Aston Villa going out in the last round, Manchester City is the sole British representative left in this year’s competition.
Inevitably, hopes are riding high that the Eastlands club can make it all the way to Istanbul’s Sükrü Saracoglu Stadium on Wednesday 20 May 2009 when, the very last UEFA Cup final will take place.
ITV4’s match day programme begins at 7pm.
