Unacceptable, That’s What You Are

City’s latest insipid Eastlands performance highlights yet again this team’s total inability to fight back when falling behind.

I don’t think the current ‘get out of Dodge’ Manchester City board should even consider any takeover bid that proposes to keep the current set up in place. We need a top to bottom clearout without any exception.

The dour demeanour of the team’s unacceptable efforts against Aston Villa in front of incredibly loyal home supporters gave the impression that they think they’ve done enough to help the club stumble to Premiership safety again and now job done, can sit back and consider their options.

There is something seriously wrong when Stuart Pearce’s management team which steadily grows with cronies cannot motivate a side to perform at home, let alone score a single goal at Eastlands in four months. As ever, the statistics show us how risky the boards policy has been in maintaining Pearce’s employment through thick and mainly thin, nevermind the hope for the best cheapskate transfer policy. Only relegated Watford have scored less goals than City and that is appalling considering the money Pearce has squandered. His post match comments increasingly sound like somebody who himself is going through the motions.

What really grated on me today was the incredulous inclusion of Hamman who went off again looking exhausted and a bench dominated by journeymen rubbish who have let us all down so badly when we have young Academy players and reserves such as Abdoun who surely any other manager would be regularly blooding at this stage. How long will these lads stay at City should the current team selection policy continue?

The inexperienced manager who will one day come good is no longer a good enough excuse. The clueless tactical inability to break down visiting teams at a home stadium which should be a fortress is relentless in it’s consistency.

I believe that the reason Pearce is still Manchester City manager is because the City board are holding out for it all becoming somebody else’s problem.

If you are part of a consortium and are seeking out fans views and have arrived at this site, this one is for you. Let me tell you that you need to clear out the whole non existent scouting shambles and naiive management set up unless you want to see your investment p*ssed up the wall.

And as for Pearce and his let downs, you had better sort it before we meet the rags and Spurs, because another complacent dithering effort will almost certainly be punished heavily and Manchester City supporters who have backed you deserve much better than that.
