The Premier League champions have been drawn to play against The Championship’s Leeds in the last sixteen of this season’s FA Cup…

The Fifth Round tie will take place over the weekend of the 16th and 17th February.

The Citizens and The Whites have served up some titanic cup clashes in the past and this encounter is likely to prove no exception. Yet the fortunes of these two great clubs, forever bonded by a total hatred of The Stretfords have transformed across the past decade.

The two clubs last met in FA Cup combat in January 2000 at Maine Road, Lids running out 2-5 winners in a humdinger that saw the likes of Shaun Goater and Ian Bishop on target for City with Eirik Bakke, Alan Smith, Harry Kewell (2) and Lee Bowyer sealing a rout.
