(Video) One To Watch – City’s Darko Gyabi – Manager Labels Him An “Exceptional Young Player”

|

Videos from FFDTV showcase the best young players in the game, and their latest features Manchester City starlet Darko Gyabi.

The incredibly talented 15-year-old midfielder has already played and scored at U18 level for Manchester City this season, after he was signed in November 2018 at age 14 for a reported £300K (which could go on to rise to £1 million) – a considerable fee for a player of his age. Gyabi impressed and was highly sought after at his previous club Millwall where Man City faced competition for him from Arsenal and Wolves and he was labelled as an ‘exceptional young player’ by the then Millwall manager Neil Harris.

Gyabi, from South London, has been likened to Pogba due to his playing style and physical attributes, powerful running with the ball, dribbling and quick feet as well as impressive passing range and vision (some of which can be seen in the below clips from Instagram).

In the following video with Darko, he expresses his flair & confidence on the ball and demonstrates an awareness of others around him with some incredibly quick feet, impressive skills and flicks as well as a nutmeg at the end.

In-game clips can be found below.

Players we have identified and worked with from the previous generation of talent include Jadon Sancho (at 14), Angel Gomes (14), Reiss Nelson (14/15), Callum Hudson-Odoi (16) & others including Ryan Sessegnon, Tammy Abraham, Demarai Gray & Domingos Quina (videos can be found on FFDTV’s channels as linked above).
