The City of Manchester City Stadium has been the home of MCFC since 2003 and with the possibility of the capacity being increased from over 47,000 to 60,000 we’ve decided to take a little look around the ground.

CoMS history can be found here.

A few days prior to the launch of the new official MCFC website way back in the summer of 2009 I, along with several other independent City website editors were invited to the stadium for a preview. Prior to the presentation I had the privilege to have a one-on-one stadium tour with club representative, Chris Nield. We visited various parts of the stadium and with the clubs permission I was allowed to take and publish a couple of pictures of the stadiums inner sanctum.

We begin with a short video (not mine).

If you have video footage and or photo’s of Eastlands and you want to share them please send me an e-mail and I’ll be happy to publish.
