After the shock one nil defeat against part time Danish side FC Midtjylland on Thursday, City boss Mark Hughes is determined to rally the troops and get the new campaign off to a winning start.

‘Villa are a good side and have been for a couple of seasons now. They’ve certainly established themselves as one of the main teams in the top 10, which we obviously anticipate that we will be.’
