Man City’s 100% start to the Premier League season is something we’ll be looking to continue against Crystal Palace, at this stage our closest challengers with them sitting in second, at Selhurst Park on Saturday; with this a traditional 3pm kick-off.

That means, shock horror, either side of the international break City have had 3pm kick-offs on a Saturday two-matches running!

Crystal Palace Team News:

Crystal Palace’s Joel Ward (knee) will miss out along with Marouane Chamakh with Connor Wickham a doubt.

French international Yohan Cabaye (groin) and Julian Speroni are both available for the hosts though.

Player to watch: Yannick Bolasie

Man City Team News:

What a nightmare start to his City career it’s been for Fabian Delph? Injured in pre-season he’s now out with another hamstring injury for six to eight-weeks it seems after he pulled up playing for England.

Fernando (groin) is back in training and could return, but this is unlikely, with Bacary Sagna(ankle) also a doubt with a major blow seeing a knock playing for Spain sidelining David Silva who’s been in sparkling for form City so far this season.

Debuts could, perhaps will, be on for Nicolas Otamendi and club record signing Kevin De Bruyne?

Match Facts & Stats

City have already set a club record by winning 10-matches in a row in the Premier League, however we’re still short of a topflight record that stands at 14 set by Arsenal in 2002 with this game at Crystal Palace a major tester to this run!

A good omen? Not since the Premier League title win in the 2011/12 season have City won the opening five-matches to the season, yet further incentive to maintain this 100% record….no?

Palace did beat us two-one in the last meeting mind, two-one back in April and they beat Chelsea at Stamford Bridge two-weeks ago!

Match Prediction:

The Citizens will hope for a positive result, but will this happen?
