Watch: The David Rubenstein Show Featuring Khaldoon Al Mubarak

|

Did you know, Manchester City Chairman, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has more strings to his bow than a fiddler has on his musical instrument.

A decade ago Khaldoon Al Mubarak and ADUG (Abu Dhabi United Group) became prominent figures in Manchester after the MCFC takeover was finally rubberstamped. However (I don’t know about you), I’ve never really got to grips with the Chairman’s background. I mean, how many Blues knew Khaldoon Al Mubarak’s father, who was a UAE Ambassador to France was assassinated in 1984 (Khaldoon was only 6). Also, did you know his grandfather was also a well-known and respected figure within the Middle East?

Did you know?

Khaldoon was educated in Boston, USA and when he graduated from College he found himself in America’s west coast?

Chief Executive officer of Mubadala Investment Company, Khaldoon (42) discusses Manchester City Football Club, Abu Dhabi’s efforts to diversify from an oil economy, his relationship with Abu Dhabi’s Crown Prince and more.

To me, Khaldoon Al Mubarak has been shrouded in mystery ever since he arrived on the scene way back in 2008. But not anymore.

Bloomberg TV presenter David Rubenstein sits down with the father of three and in doing so extracts information all of which I hope you find fascinating.

David Rubenstein

If you’re like me and you are not a regular Bloomberg TV viewer, nor are you into finance and business then the chances of recognising David Rubenstein are going to be slim.

All I will say is that the 68-year-old American is known within his circles to be a successful financier and philanthropist.

Oh, and one last thing – Mr. Rubenstein has an estimated net worth of over $2.9 billion.
