With the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool up to their eyes in debt, isn’t it nice just for once for Manchester City fans to sit back and gloat.

For years Man City have been the whipping boys, but not any longer. Our owners are on a mission – yes a mission, and that is to conquer the footballing world.

Real Madrid have borrowed more money that the whole GDP of Malta put together, and that’s just to finance players such as Kaka and Ronaldo. In addition the cheeky buggers don’t even intend resting on their laurels with more mega-buck signings in the pipeline.

We however don’t have to worry about bank overdrafts, the taxman, player embargoes and arrears on the stadium rent. Well not anymore. Oh happy days!

I know this article will ruffle a few feathers but I’m past caring. Call me arrogant, call me what you will, but we are City, we are Manchester City.
