VfB gaffer Fredi Bobic has confirmed that Stuttgart are pushing to sign the MCFC Academy graduate and established Slovakia international on a season long loan with a view to signing permanently much in the mould of the City and Sunderland deal for Nedum Onuoha.
The Stuttgarter Nachtrichen website reports that Weiss, who went on loan to Bolton Wanderers last season was the subject of a full transfer bid from Stuttgart, but that City’s Footballing Administrator Brian Marwood was reluctant to sell, so offered Stuttgart a loan deal instead.
