Vladimír Weiss has made it clear – his days at Glasgow Rangers WILL definitely finish at the end of the 2010/11 Scottish Premier League season.

The Slovakia international, who turns 21 on 30 November, played a blinder against Manchester United last night but sadly the Ibrox side came a cropper when a late Wayne Rooney penalty sunk the current SPL leaders. In essence it means Walter Smith’s side, who lost 1-0 at home drop out of the Champions League and into the Europa League knock-out stages.

Vladi, on loan from his parent side Manchester City told Scottish Sun reporter Andy Devlin…

‘I love the club (Man City) because I’ve been there for nearly five years. I’ve come to Rangers for a season and all my thoughts are about Rangers. Hopefully I can go back to City after that and fight for a place.’

The Rangers faithful have taken Weiss to their hearts during his last three-month stint in Scotland, nevertheless we City fans can thank Walter and his coaching staff for helping develop Vladimír into what many think will become a world-class winger.
