Why All The Rag Hype About RVP?

The rags are prepared to match Wayne Rugney’s massive salary in order to secure Robin Van Persie’s services. Is the 29 year old Arsenal skipper daft enough to join The Stretfords…?

Admittedly, City seem to be back to where we started in the bidding for Robin Van Persie…nowhere!!!

According to some reports it is suggested that RVP is now going to go to United, and other sources suggest a ‘deal’ is still on for RVP to come to City……why so much hype?

Why would you want to be living in the shadows with United, a team that has many trophies under their belt already? What more is to be gained? Would one not prefer to come to a team that is just beginning their journey as Champions rather than join a team that quite frankly cannot get much better than it has already when it comes to the Premiership Title!?

Would it not make sense to come to Manchester City and make a name for yourself at the same time as helping City to soar higher than our first title win for 44 years…the first of many?

I would feel quite sorry for RVP if he went to the rags as he will never be part of a unique experience…the experience of course being keeping the rags out of the top spot again and further fuelling the City juggernaut.

It seems that Arsenal, and their fans, are still adamant that their captain is not going anywhere. Who knows, because I am certain RVP does not know himself. This could quite simply again be a greedy agent trying to farm him out to the highest salary!

Ferguson wants RVP to play alongside his little pal Rooney, (and just for the hell of it Usain Bolt himself). I would say that that is probably down to the fact that Rooney is needing a little help these days because, let’s face it, you cannot rely on veterans (Lampard and Beckham excluded) to keep assisting…(Giggs and Scholes come to mind). Desperate measures. If you don’t mind me saying so bringing your old guys back out of retirement…

On the up side for RVP, if he came to Manchester City he would be playing with a rising club that would allow him to have a claim to fame and be a part of a major victory in assisting the Blues in retaining their top spot as Champions….(with not a pensioner in sight).

Manchester is BLUE
