Manchester City are expected to make a third bid for Chelsea Captain John Terry, however rumours circulating around Stamford Bridge suggest the club are on the verge of reporting City to the FA for tapping up the 28-year-old Englishman.

Depending on who you believe City are going to offer Chelsea anywhere between £40m and £50million, in addition, entice Terry with an incentive of being paid the highest salary in the Premier League, if not the world – £250,000 a week.

Chelsea are expecting Terry to make a public statement about his intentions in the next few days.

On our last poll Vital Manchester City asked the following…

Do Chelsea have a leg to stand on if they report City to the FA over John Terry?

Here is the result, in descending order.

Not really – 73%
Yeah I think so – 16%
