Wright-Phillips Bid Rejected

City have admitted that they made an audacious, last minute bid to bring Shaun Wright-Phillips back to Eastlands until the end of the season.

Unsurprisingly, Chelsea rejected the offer as they see Wright-Phillips as an integral part of their squad.
